Job duties/description:

The processing of parts order in from suppliers and out to our customers/ contract drill division /workshop repair use

Must be fully computer literate , Booking in orders with part numbers by producing Goods Received Notes on our “Merlin” stock control system, training provided
Packaging, arranging with the carriers/haulage to collect the goods, despatch of the goods to the required destinations with correct paperwork.

Checking with the office staff on customers order progress

To Ensure that the stores areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner conforming with HSE requirements for oil storage, walk ways being clear and fire door areas kept clear. Safe storage of parts on the storage racks.

Storage areas / shelves to be maintained : Goods marked with part numbers, storage boxes labelled and marked correctly.
Relabelling parts and boxes etc. where required as the markings become worn .
Carry out ladder inspection/checks as HSE recommended timings
Weekly FLT truck checks, ensure FLT keys are being removed when not in use as per HSE requirements

Assisting with light workshop duties and maintenance

Assisting with the annual stock check, and to carry out monthly stock checks as requested by the office manager on defined areas.
